We call this guy GPS Man because he has a tracking device on his back.
There’s a lot of chasing going on! It looks like the guy on the left is upside down with his head turned. At one time yesterday I counted 8 birds chasing each other! Unfortunately they were too far away to get a decent shot.
Unfortunately these guys were too far away to get a really good picture but they were talon locked for a while spinning around in circles!
When I was there last Sunday I counted over 100 eagles sitting on the rocks so there are probably close to 200 of them there!!!
Wow ! Kim very nice. I like the ones with some back ground versus the clear skies. I get more of a size and depth perception. Eagles are so big; I personally like photos that convey that the most. Friends of mine fishing nearby the dam this week had an Eagle pick up their lure ! Fortunately the bird quickly dropped it. Sounds dangerous, the lure had hooks of course. My friends left rather than risk a repeat.

Nice photos. I was planning on a trip up there yesterday and today, but came down with a bad cold. I probably won’t be able to make a trip now until after the Christmas Open House at Blackwater NWR on December 5. Hope the birds hang around there for a few more weeks. Thanks for the directions link!

Hi Chris, I have an exhibit at Bombay this weekend starting on Friday so I don’t think I’ll be there but I may go for just a little while in the morning. It’s hard to keep away once the eagles hook you!
